I’ve functioned on a school schedule for over 35 years. Finding a new rhythm & purpose this past year and a half in the midst of settling into a new city & home, traveling, hosting visitors, working, getting a new job, and then quitting said job, hasn’t been easy. It takes me so long to bounce back from anything these days, but I’m slowly working my way back to this here blog. And, I’m finally sharing my weekend adventure at Jeanne Oliver’s gorgeous home and studio in Colorado. I have mentioned this lovely lady and her online network a few times before and I was so overjoyed and grateful to take her abstract & urban landscape workshop in person earlier this June.
Our days were filled with creativity, and lots of wine and yummy food (but seriously, look at this welcome).
Jeanne and her beautiful family prepared so much goodness for me and the other ladies. We spent two days making art, eating good food, taking walks on their land, visiting the town of Castle Rock, and sharing our hearts’ desires. It was truly a complete experience for nurturing the creative soul.
Needless to say, I came home inspired. Here are a few more highlights of these two glorious days…
