Yay, books! Who read all the books during quarantine??? I didn’t. Like, at all. Could not muster the energy.

But, I finally finished this one. I was 2/3 of the way through it when Armageddon hit. It took me two months to get back to it.

My favorite parts were the stories of Michelle growing up in Chicago, and her dating years with Obama. Finishing this book meant I could watch the documentary on Netflix ;). Loved that, too.

Where Women Create. A magazine I love, don’t always buy, but almost always keep.

So much gorgeous inspiration. Lovely read while sipping coffee, or tea, or vino…
Beautiful illustration by Debbie George. Learn more about her here.
Love William Morris.
Love this quote.

I read Flour in the Attic, by Winnie Archer, in the winter, before quarantine. It was perfect for a cold evening by the fire (which sounds so obnoxious, but it’s really how I read it… with a glass of wine, too).

There’s romance, there’s death, there’s mystery. What’s not to love?! And the title! I mean, come on.

One of the very exciting things about this book is that it was given to me by the author herself! I met her during an art journaling meet up and she is the loveliest person. You can read more about Melissa Bourbon (Winnie Archer is her pen name) and her many bestselling books here. I’m personally looking forward to diving into her Lola Cruz Mystery series.

Well, that’s all for now folks. Happy reading!
